A Message From Principal Wilson:

Parents/Guardians,

Attached to this email you will find Benson’s 5 Year plan that the Site Council and Benson Administrators have been working on this past school year.  This is a 5 year plan that will help guide Benson in the future as we look at agenda items that we want to hopefully achieve within the next five years.  Even though we may not be able to reach all our goals on this plan, in the end the plan will help guide and focus our agenda items for Benson over the next five year span.

A Message to Parents from the PTSA: (Chocolate Bake Sale at Tech Show)

A number of us thought it would be fun (and delicious!) to host a Chocolate Bake Sale during the second night of the Tech Show–since it just happens to be on Valentine’s Day.

If you are interested in contributing, or helping to staff the table, please let me know as soon as possible. We will start selling at the beginning of the event and continue until all of the items have been snatched up.

If you want to contribute, please bring baked goods (homemade seems most delicious, but store bought is fine also) to the office.  Friday morning would be the best time to deliver, but we’ll handle it if you just want to bring them with you Friday night.  All we ask is that you portion the treats so that we can sell them for .25, .50, or $1.00. No whole cakes please :)

Please let me know if you plan to contribute, or to help staff the table, and let me know if you have any questions.

[email protected]

Best,

Neeley Wells

A Message from Joe Rozewski (Benson’s Art Teacher):

Parents–

I wanted you to know that we are now registered for the KATU “Cash for Schools” contest.  Parents can go to KATU.com and register Benson for the $10,000 prize.  So far we only have 7 people signed up and we need at least 200 to really compete.  The school with the most votes wins the money.  Grant, Franklin and several other schools are already beating us.

LETS SHOW THEM WHO IS BOSS!!!  Please register today and get our school some money for sports supplies, art supplies and science equipment.

Thanks for your support.

Joe Rozeweski
