Please be sure to provide positive support as your kids finish out the next three weeks of school before Christmas vacation begins. For some of our students Christmas vacation comes with uncertainty, so please be mindful and talk to your kids if you notice any significant changes in their moods or behavior.

Parents and students the deadline is quickly approaching. If you want to purchase a 2014 yearbook, the price is $50 until winter break and $60 after winter break. You can make a check out to Benson High School. I also take cash and money orders. Remember that our student store also has sweatshirts($30), t-shirts($10), scarves($20) and beanies($15). These items make great presents. Students may stop by my office before school, lunch time and after school. Parents may stop by anytime. My hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Internships:
Apply for the Oregon Zoo ZAP (Zoo Animal Presenters) internship. This is a three year paid program for teens interested in working with children and learning about conservation education. Get your applications in the career center. Application deadline is January 22, 2014.
